Commissioned and premiered by St. Bedes Episcopal Church music director Frank Basile, in Los Angeles, CA in 2007, this lovely setting of Phos Hilaron was sung for their Evensong Service by a small but mighty choir of 12. Also commissioned and sung for the same program were settings of Nunc Dimitis and Magnificat. These choral works are beautifully suited for small to large choirs for church services or concert performances and can be performed as a set or individually. Not difficult.
