will perform an exciting concert celebrating the goddesses in our lives.

The Trio will perform Debussy’s Sonate and two contemporary works, Doppler Effect by Adrienne Albert (a sound sample of which is online at http://firepinktrio.com/mediafiles/Albert-DopplerEffect.mp3) and Dan Locklair’s Dream Steps. Also a work by Frank Bridges for two violas with guest violist, Jonathan Bagg.

The event is free and open to the public.

The Trio, consisting of Jacquelyn Bartlett, harpist, Sheila Browne, violist and Debra Reuter-Pivetta, flutist came together in 2008. Each member brings a multitude of accolades including top prizes in international competitions, concerto performances and critically acclaimed recordings. They perform music from Romantic to Contemporary, Latin and Jazz. Fire Pink Trio brings energy, elegance, style and virtuosity to the stage. The Fire Pink Trio will be in concert, performing music for harp, flute and viola, on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 7:00 PM at Christ & St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 120 West 69th Street (between Columbus and Broadway) in Manhattan. The event is sponsored by The New York Viola Society.
