I am honored that the Cornell University Chorus, under the direction of Robert Isaacs, has commissioned me to compose a work for their fall concert. Titled MALALA, the piece is based on the name and sayings of the extraordinary young Pakistani woman who recently won the Nobel Peace Prize. Scored for SSAA a cappella, the Premiere will take place at Cornell on October 3st at 6 pm.
